Abstract:
     A new active polypeptide-insulin antagonistic peptide is purified from the acid-alcohol extraction of pig's pancreas, which contains more alkaline amino acids, whose molecular weight is about 3000 and whose N-end is blocked. Its physiochemical features and the antagonistic activity to insuline are different from known active polypeptide, so a new approach to prevent and cure the obesity caused by hyperinsulinism is provided.
