Abstract:
     This invention uses a dry powder which is freeze-dried from toxin of Pallas pit viper in Jianpsu and Zhejiang provinces. Then it is conducted through following steps at a temp. of 4 deg.C: (1) column chromatographic analysis by CM-Scphadex C50; (2) gel filtration chromatographic analysis by Scphadex G100; (3) Chromatographic analysis by DEAE-Scphadex A50; (4) Chromato graphic analysis by high efficiency liquid phase chromatographic apparatus. By Said process, quantity of sample taking for primary chromatographic analysis is large and, and the resolution ratio is high. It is advantageous to commercial production. Purified nervous growth factor possesses a fine stability to acid, alkali, and temperature.
