Abstract:
     Method for producing purified surface antigen particles for hepatitis B includes such steps as culturing mammal's cells generating said particles in medium, adding serum not containing high-molecular-weight polluted protein to the medium, and collecting purified surface antigen particles. A preclassification process is used to remove the moleculae having molecular weight of greater than 3X10 to the power 5 D and high-molecular-weight polluted protein, so the cells may be cultured in medium of futus ox serum and the purification of HBsAg is simplified.
