Abstract:
     This invention discloses a synthetic method of carbohydrato-N-(aminopyrimidinyl)-oxazolidine-2-thione which is closely related to the antivirus compounds of purine nucleosides. In this process, the titled compound is obtd. after the condensation of carbohydrato-oxazolidine-2-thione and halo nitro pyrimidine by the action of metallic alcoholate, mevcury or silver salt, and reduction reaction through the influeuce of Aluminum-amalgam. It is characterized by its convenience in operation, easyness for obtaining raw materials, low cost and facileness for industrial prodn. It can be used as the starting material for medicines of purine nucleosides such as adenosine arabinoside.
