Abstract:
     This rutin prodn. process is a chemical technology for extracting rutin from the buds of Chinese scholartree. The said technology is characterized by that: instead of milk of lime, aq. soln of ammonium bicarbonate with a small amt. of lime water added is used for carrying out the steam-cooking; and instead of warm water, cold water is used for raw material washing. Besides, the crystalline rutin is not washed with acidic water. As compared with the conventional technology for rutin prodn. the method of this invention has obvious advantages of high yield, high prod. quality and less energy consumption.
