Abstract:
     The present product is made by first filtering fermentation liq. of nocardia to remove hypha and controlling its pH value to acidity, followed by extraction with organic esters, concentration of resultant extract, separation on silica gel column by eluting with benzene-methanol mixture, concentration of collected active part, deactivation on LH-20 column, elution with alcohol type organic solvent, concentration of the collected active part, and recrystallization with alcohol type organic solvent. The said compound can be dissolved in polar organic solvent and has antitumour function with low toxicity.
