Abstract:
     Unlike available momordicine extracting process, which results in product with low purity and low cure effect, the extraction process of the present invention can obtain momordicine product with purity of 7%, high diabetes treating effect of 82%, cure rate of 40%, no side effect and stable and lasting blood sugar reducing effect. The extraction process includes the main steps of homogenization, stirring, suction filtering, pH value regulation, refrigeration, precipitation, stasgnation, of colorless needle crystal, thin layer chromolographic analysis with silica gel G, elution, filtering, vacuum drying to obtain colorless crystal, reflux heating, filtering and drying, and final paper filtration.
