Abstract:
     A process for extracting peonol from the crushed raw plant material containing peonol with the supercritical or liquid-state CO2 is disclosed, which featurs cyclic extrations and separations with following parameters: 15-60 deg.C and 10-32 MPa for extraction, 30-70 deg.C and 5-10 MPa for resolving, 2-6 KgCO2/hr for CO2 supply, and extraction time of 0.5-1 hr. The resultant is crystal peonol. Its advantages include high purity up to 95% or more, high output rate up to 2-2.6%, high extraction speed, cyclic use of CO2 and no environmental pollution.
