Abstract:
     A process for extracting the total alkaloid as active antitussive and phlegm-eliminating component from Yili tendrilled fritillary bulb includes breaking Yili tendrilled fritillary bulb to become small blocks (0.5-1 cm), leaching with 30-50 % alcohol at flow speed of 5-10 ml/min, concentrating, regulating pH value to 2-5 with acid, centrifugal separation to remove precipitate, regulating pH value to 9-15 with alkali, extracting by chloroform or dichloromethane, recovering organic solvent, and vacuum drying.
