Abstract:
     It is formulated as PO (OR")3-n (OCH2CHXR')n from epoxy alkane OCH2CHR' and phosphoryl halide POXn(OR")3-n, in which R', R" are hydrogln or alkyl, halogenated alkyl, phenyl, and halogenated phenyl; x is chlorine or Bromine; n is 1 or 2, 3. This method is that: in the presence of mixed catalysts of beryllide and phosphorus trichloride, the reactants react in multi-stage continuous reactor and then are continously treated with alkaline liquor, and washed with water countercurrent wisely; finally vacum-evaporated to remove water. The prod. obtd. can be used as flame retarder, plasticizer, etc.
