Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a method which makes acetoacetamide derivative to close the ring so as to prepare 6-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1,2,3-oxazine-4-ketone 2,2-dioxide and its non-toxic salt, including: it makes acetoacetamide-N-sulfonic acid and its salt used as acetoacetamide derivative, the best in an inert inorganic or organic solvent, through the action of SO3 which is at least approximately equimolar, to implement ring-closing reaction, and afterwards an alkali is used to neutralize the acid 6-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1,2,3-oxazine-4-ketone 2,2-dioxide produced in the said reaction.
