Abstract:
     This invention relates to a process to extract flavonoid from a Chinese herbal medicine, skullcap root. Its technological steps include decocting skullcap root twice, filtering, merging of filtrates, concentration and drying by spraying. The said technology improves the traditional one, and avoids the use of alum. Its advantages are increased yield and reduced productive period.
