Abstract:
     The method for preparation of 4-hydroxy-coumarin is that the intramolecular cleisen condensation reaction is conducted by using methyl acetyl-salciylate as raw material, liquid paraffin wax as carrier and sodium methoxide as condensation agent to make 4-hydroxy-coumarin sodium salt which is then acidified to obtain the invented product. Advantages: quite safe than existing technology using metal sodium and the output and quality of product are not affected.
