Abstract:
     A process for synthesizing cyclopropanecarboxylate uses gamma-chlorobutyrate as raw material, sodium alkoxide or potassium alkoxide as condensing agent and toluene as solvent, all of which react on each other at 70-130 deg.C, and features high output rate of reaction, and slight corrosion to apparatus and good thermal conductivity for sodium alkoxide.
