Abstract:
     A process for preparing high-purity cyclopentadiene (CPD) features the use of a special apparatus for decomposing and purifying. Said special apparatus has an additional liquid capturer between ordinary reactor and column, which allows gas phase to pass through steam channel from bottom to top, but liquid phase not to flow through gas phase channel from top to bottom, so continuously conducting decomposition and purification at same time in same apparatus. Its advantages include less generation of polymers and high yield rate and purity of CPD product.
