Abstract:
    Benzoylguanidines of the formula(I) is disclosed, in which R(1)is-CO or R(7)R(8)N-CO, and R(2) is defined as R(1) or is H, OH, Halogen, CN, NO2, (perfluoro)alk(en)yl or -(CH)2R(15), or R(2) is (C1-C9)-heteroaryl, or R(2) is SR(18), -OR(18), -NR(18)R(19) or -CR(18)R(19)R(20); or R(2) is R(21)-SOm or R(22)R(23)N-SO2-, or R(2) is R(33)X-, R(3), R(4)and R(5)are defined as R(1) or R(2), where, however, at least one of the substituents R(2), R(3), R(4) and R(5) must be OH; detailed definition is referred to specification. as are the pharmaceutically tolerated salts thereof. Also disclosed are the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
