Abstract:
    The continuous production of organic isocyanates by reacting prim. amines with phosgene in presence of inert organic solvent comprises circulating the reaction mixture with a bubble column at 60-100 DEG C, the amt. of circulated mixture (w.r.t. total amt. of reaction prods. from the amine) and the amt. of amine supplied being in a ratio of 100:1-5:1.
