     A process for preparing high-purity p-cresol from coarse one features that under ordinary pressure, coarse p-cresol is quantitatively fed in fractional crystallizer for crystallizing, where temp. is controlled by a program based on a certain curve including cooling, sweating and fusion steps. Its advantages include high purity, quality and yield rate, and low energy consumption.
