Abstract:
     This invention refers to a method for preparing a raw material powder of Yazhouning (a medicine for curing periodontitis). The filter residue obtained from the reaction of alkali methanol solution with the soapstock from alkali refining of rice oil is used as the raw material. After liquid phase saponification with sodium hydroxide, a sodium soap is obtained. After the addition of calcium chloride, it is converted into calcium soap. After washing and drying, the calcium soap is extracted with acetone and the raw material powder is obtained from the extract after removing the acetone. This invention provides a low cost and simple process for producing the raw material powder for "Yazhouning". The byproducts such as oryzanol, recovered acid oil, and other remaining materials are also valuable.
