Abstract:
     The dehalogenating reaction features that high-activity alkali-metal hydride synthesized by use of complex catalytic process is used as reducting agent and the reaction is conducted in nonproton solvent at low temp. (-40-100 deg.C) and ordinary pressure. Not only arylhalohydrocarbon, but also alkylhalohydrocarbon may be dehalogenated. In particular, the reaction in which dihalogenated matter is dehalogenated into olefin has high activity.
