Abstract:
     This invention relates to a kind of water-proof matches which is obtained by using special water-resistant materials either through water-resistant treating of the surface of matches and phosphorus side of box after conventional manufacturing process, or through adding water-resistant materials into the raw materials when the matches and box phosphorus side are manufactured. The said matches possess long-term damp-proofness, and they may still be ignited after being soaked in water for 30 min. This invention may be widely applied to various matches with sticks, such as those with wooden sticks or with waxed sticks.
