Abstract:
A phosphorus surface formulation of match is composed of red phosphorus, manganese dioxide, quratz powder, pyrite, and adhesive in wt.% of the total phosphorus surface formulation as follows: red phosphorus 40-50, manganese dioxide 10-15, quartz powder 5-12, pyrite 25-30, and adhesive 8-10. The advantage of this formulation is that the low-price abundant pyrite is used to substitute the insufficient antimony trisulfide. Pollution of atmosphere antimony trisulfide is prevented, and prodn. cost is lowered.
