Abstract:
     The present invention refers to a method for producing heavy smoke which is produced by combustion and can be extended during the day with relative ground stability. It can be used to carry anaesthetic agent and chemical warfare chemicals for military use and to carry agricultural chemicals and special medicaments for civil use. The heavy smoke is produced by the generating agent consisting of heavy smoke matrix, NH4Cl, and heat donor of (1) chlorinating agent with chlorination ability stronger than NH4NO3, such as chlorate, permanganate, dichromate and metal salt of nitrate, and (2) the above (1) plus reducing agent, such as sulfur, wood sawdust, charcoal, etc. The present heavy smoke contains high content of NH4Cl which can be as high as 62%.
