Abstract:
     The catalyst for decomposing unsym-dimethyl hydrazine to produce ammonia and dimethyl amine consists of main active component metal palladium in 0.1-30 wt%, assistant metal elemen(s) selected from Rh, Ru, Ir, Pt, Ni and Co in 0.01-10 wt% and support(s) selected from SiO2, Al2O3, active carbon and diatomite. The catalyst for the present invention can decompose unsym-dimethyl hydrazine into useful ammonia and dimethyl amine at high activity and high conversion rate and in a small equipment.
