Abstract:
     This invention falls into the category of chemical technology. At the present time the igniter for fireworks contains high concentration of potassium chlorate which may itself pose a potential hazard for the production, transportation and storage of fireworks. This invention is aimed at the production of low potassium chlorate containing, high safety igniter with its content not exceeding 28.6%. A nitrate as an ingredient of the composite oxidizing agent is blended with the igniting agent. The production method of firecrackers according to this invention is similar to the conventional ones. The raw materials are abundant and inexpensive and the fire and explosion accidents during the production, transportation and storage of fireworks, can be significantly reduced.
