Abstract:
     This invention relates to a new method for manufacturing the emusion explosive permissible for using in the 1st or 2nd category of coal mines. Sodium nitrate is currently used as an oxidizing agent in the manufacture of the emulsion explosive in China and abroad. This invention, however, uses the common salt-sodium chloride instead of sodium nitrate. The cheap and abundant common salt is used as an alternative to the expensive and relatively scarce sodium nitrate, resulting not only in a significont reduction of cost and broadening the resources of raw material, but also in that the common salt plats a positive role in flame extinction for inhibiting the biogas explosion. As the explosive is dispersed in an oily phase which solidifies at room temperature, it has good storage stability and is more rigid than other emulsion explosives and is easily to be used in the coal mine.
