Abstract:
Silver iodide flaming agent is a specific pyrotechnic agent that broadcasts nuclei of ice crystal for artificial rainfall by burning method. The flaming agent discribed in this invention features that the number of ice crystals generated by one gram of silver iodide is higher. Compared with Soviet Union's silver-saving agent which is the best at present, it has the nucleating rate two times increased at the temp. below -10 deg.C or by 10 times at higher temp of -7 deg.C. Its advantages includes easy availability of raw materials, simple processing method, low-temp. ignition and stable burning. It contains opacifier and antistatic agent, so preventing silver iodide from photolyzing and having good storage performance and safety.
