Abstract:
This invention discloses a method to prepare smokeless powder from nitrocellulose instead of nitrocotton, in which enlaliopsis binata is used as raw material. The enlaliopsis binata cellulose that is obtained through pre-hydrolysis and saponification is nitrated into nitrocellulose by a mixture of nitric acid and sulfuric acid. The nitrocellulose, along with such matters as diphenylamine as stabilizer, ethyl acetate and gelatine, is put in a reaction cauldron to obtain a ball-type matter through heating and mixing. Such matter goes through pressing, passivation and lustering to obtain an oblate propellant powder.
