Abstract:
     This non-TNT ammonium nitrate explosive is made of ammonium nitrate, wood powder, modified urea nitrate and compound modifier, and features the substitution of modified urea nitrate containing 0.5-1% for TNT and the addition of compound modifier having water-proof, anti-caking and igniting functions. The explosive has the advantages of less toxicity, high explosion performance and low mechanical sensitiveness, it is superior to No.2 rock ammonium nitrate explosive. Its explosion speed is 3300-3600 m/s and its gap distance is not less than 7 cm. Because of the waste acid after preparing ammonium nitrate explosive is used to prepare modified urea nitrate, the cost is low. The explosive is suitable for blasting medium hard rock, gold and copper ores and non-gas and non-dust explosion.
