Abstract:
     This invention uses a TP-801 single-board computer as a controller to realize the accurate power factor compensation of an electrical power network. At first the computer measmes the phase angle, then make a trial of connecting a set of capacitors to the power network. After the trial, the phase angle is second quantitatively measured. Finally according to the measured phase angles 1 and 2 and the trial value of the capacitors, we can calculate the value of the capacitor that the electrical power network needs. This invention has the characteristics of high speed, accuracy and multiplex control, and it is not necessary to provide dedicated transformers, but the actions of the contactor reduce by 80 percent.
