Abstract:
     The method leads to the separation of the slurry material into a solid-matter phase and a dry-stuff phase, which together contain the nitrogenous components. Both material phases are sterile. The liquid phase can be evaporated, and the water recovered from this process can be used for feeding purposes, while the concentrate can be combined and used together with the solid-matter phase as fertilizer. There is also described an apparatus with a separation tank (3) for the execution of the method. The method and apparatus make it possible to process liquid manure and similar materials in an inexpensive manner, turning them into materials which can be handled and used within the limits as defined in stringent environmental regulations.
