Abstract: |
|||
| A process for producing a fertilizer, in which ammonia is added to a sulfur oxide-containing gas, an electron beam is applied to the mixed gas, and resulting products are collected. The sulfur oxide-containing gas is cooled in a heat-exchanger (2) and a cooler (3), and then introduced into a reactor (4), where ammonia is added to the gas and the gas is irradiated with an electron beam. In this process, the ratio of the ammonia concentration in the gas to the moisture concentration before the irradiation with the electron beam and the ratio of the ammonia concentration in the gas to the moisture concentration after the irradiation with the electron beam are controlled to predetermined values. | |||
