Abstract:
     Said method uses Ti, C, Si and Al as raw material, their mole ratio is as follows: Ti:C:Al:Si=3:2:0.95-1.05:0.15-0.25. After the raw materials are uniformly mixed, their are sintered in vacu9um chamber of discharge plasma sintering system, its sintering temp. is 1100-1250 deg.C heat-insulating time is 10-30 min. and its pressure is 20-80 MPa. The Ti3AlC2 content in the prepared product is up to above 98 wt% and the compactness of block body material is up to 99%.
