Abstract:
     The present invention uses TiC powder, Ti powder, Si powder and Al powder as raw material, the mole ratio of said four raw materials is as follows: TiC:Ti:Al:Si=2:1:0.95-1.05:0.15-0.25. They are uniformly mixed, then sintered in the heat-pressing furnace with Ar gas as protection atmosphere, its sintering temp. is 1200-1500 deg.C, heating-insulating time is 1-8 hr and pressure is 20-80 MPa. The Ti3AlC2 content in the prepared product is up to above 98 wt%, and the compactness of its block body material is up to 99%.
