Abstract:
     A process for preparing the composite silicate containing Al and/or Mg and/or alkali metal includes proportionally mixing formate solution with ethyl n-silicate in acidic condition, reacting, regulating pH=7-11 to obtain wet gel, drying and heat treating. Its advantages are easy control, high purity and preparing speed, and low cost.
