Abstract:
     Production of ceramic parts having a determined porosity by sintering comprises using microwaves to apply energy for sintering using electromagnetic waves having a vacuum wavelength of 5-20 cm in the multimode and an electromagnetic power of up to one kilowatt. The substances to be sintered are contained in a vessel produced not only from primary materials but also by a secondary material consisting of a mixture of non-metallic paramagnetic, ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic or ferroelectric materials and refractory microwave-transparent materials.
