Abstract:
     A batchwise melting, purifying and unloading process for producing glass is carried out in electric heated container, purifying is carried out by rotating the container. While unloading, the container is kept still. By using several containers, either movable itself or may be connected to movable ducts, raw material can be passed continuously to the process machine. The containers consist: eletrodes for heating, device for closing the outlet, device for overpressuring or negative pressuring. Near the outlet also having a import tube for blowing inerts and improving the molten glass fluidity.
