Abstract:
    A novel type of lead-free glass for use in glass components of electric lamps, such as stems for incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps and lamp envelopes for compact fluorescent lamps. The glass does not contain PbO, F and B2O3. The glass has favorable physical properties as regards meltability, softening, expansion, electric resistance, transparency, strength and chemical resistance.
