Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a technological process for preparing coloured glass by using fly ash as raw material. It is characterized by its ingredients are: 1) for preparing general glass or high-alumina glass it uses (wt%) 80-95% of fly ash and 5-20% of soda; 2) for preparing potassium glass it uses (wt%) 75-95% of fly ash, 4-19% of soda and 1-6% of potash or sylvite. Said process uses cheap fly ash as main raw material and doesn't use auxiliary ingredient for changing colour, and can prepare dark glass product having extensive purpose. Said process not only opens a new way for comprehensive utilization of fly ash, but also can reduce contamination of fly ash to environment.
