Abstract:
     The protecting glass capable of effectively absorbing low-energy radiation less than 100 kev and reducing its scattering for medical X-ray room contains great amount of K2O, CaO, ZnO, SnO2, Sb2O3 and BaO, where K2O CaO ZnO SnO2 Sb2O3 BaO PbO are above 22 wt.% and ZnO SnO2 Sb2O3 BaO are over 7 wt.%. Its lead equivalent weight is 0.5mm Pb/6mm glass. Its scattering strength is lower than ZF3 and its chemical stability is higher than that of ZF3, but its cost is lower.
