Abstract:
     The opal glass similar to natural agate in lustre and mass feeling contains such components (wt.%) as MgO (8-18), Al2O3 (18-22), SiO2(50-60), R2O (<10), emulsifier (0.5-2), nacleation agent (P2O5,ZrO2 and TiO2) (0.5-5) and colouring agent (one or two of Cr2O5, CuO, ZnO, NiO, MnO, Fe2O3 and C0O) (0.05-2), and may be used as decorative material and slab which takes the palce of agate.
