| The extractant is an acidic group of phosphorus P507 or P504. The purificn. is accomplished through fractional extn. and selective back extn.. The mathematical patterns of distribution ratio and sepn. coefft. between lanthanum and actinium extn. are given. The pH values of aq. phase at extract section exit and wash section must be well controlled. The invention is suitable for deep processing of raw lanthanum oxide obtd. from monazite or other rare earth ores, and the fluorescence grade lanthanum oxide is then produced. The economic benefit on industrial application is evident. | |||
