Abstract:
The method can be described as following: preparation of material, during which the material is calcined at a temperature ranging from 750 to 800 deg.C, mixing and making the calcined magnesite, together with coke, salt and bittern, into spherules, and drying the spherules at 500-580 deg.C, then, carrying out the chlorination process at 950-1100 deg.C. Using the spherule chlorination process of this invention, the anhydrous magnesium chloride output from the vertical chlorination furnace can be greatly increased.
