Abstract:
     The present invention relater to carbon reduction method to prepare barium fluochloride activated by bivalent europium (BaFCl:Eu2 )-a X-ray actinic material. This method is simple in process and equipment, and safe in operation. The majority of the trivalent rare earth metal europium ions are transformed to bivalent ones. The amount of europium is small but highly effective. Chemical properties of this material are stable, its actinic ability is excellent.
