Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a process for production of alkaline aluminium chloride used as starting materials of cleaners, sizing agents, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. In prior processes for production of the same., aluminium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid are dissolved and reacted under pressure in an acid resistant autoclave or in an auto-clave filled-in nitrogen. There are shortages in the prior precesses such as higher cost;lower alkalinity of the product,etc. However, as the aluminium hydroxide having a specific dissolving rate, and a specific reaction condition for hydrochloric acid with aluminium hydroxide are applied according to the invention, there are no such shortages mentimed above.
