Abstract:
This invention relates to a novel method in the field of inorganic salt preparation. In the present invention, 2.5-35% (by volume) tertiary amine is used as extracting agent 2.5-15% (by volume) of neutral donor except alcohols may be added as a phase modifying agent to facilitate back extraction. Using ordinary kerosene or kerosene containing arenes as solvent, ferric iron can be selectively extracted from aluminum sulfate solution in weakly acidic medium. Back extraction is carried out with dilute sulfuric acid or cross-currently in multi stages with water. The extraction system used not only shows excellent performance in iron extraction, but has also solved the difficult problem in back extraction by using dilute acid. Thus, it provides an effective way for industrial application.
