Abstract:
     This invention disclosesa synthetic method of carnallite by the reaction of magnessium chloride and potassium chloride including the desulfurization of magnessium chloride and concentration of the solution by evaparation. According to the proposed art, evaporation is divided into two steps, firstly, weight percentage concentration of total chlorides of magnessium and calcium must at least reach up to 20, and secondly, to 30-38. For this purpose, into the desulfurization solution, a mixture of potassium and magnessium chloride and nomore than 1.5% (wt.) calcium chloride is added. Upon cooling of the final suspension solution obtained, synthetic carnallite might be crystallized.
