Abstract:
     The invention is extraction method of metallic scandium oxide. In liquid decomposed out titanium with 5-8 MOL H2SO4 acidity from 5-20mg/l Sc content titanium iron ore, through 0.5 MP204 4-8% TBP-kerosene, phase ration O/A=1/20 and balancing for 15 minutes, early rich scandium (Sc) is extracted. After extracting, titanium impurity of organic phase is washed. Directly using NaOH and HCLO3, chromatograph purified scandium (Sc) is extracted from extracted resin combined with 55-62% TBP (or P350). Particle size of resin is 100-150 mesh, flow ratio is 1ml/m2. Purity through oxalic acid purifying is larger than 99.9% Sc2O3. Recovery ratio of scandium (Sc) is larger than 70%.
