Abstract:
     This invention offers a method for production of strontium salt using strontianite. The specific feature of the method is that the strontianite is cracked by a physical-chemical reaction, and after sintering at high temp., immersed in water to obtain the intermediate of strontia hydrate, which then is put into reaction with the ammonium bicarbonate, forming thus a strontium carbonate. Many kinds of strontium salts can also be produced under a particular pH value. Using this method for production of strontium salts prevails generally over the conventionalities concerning raw malerial saving, elimination of waste-induced pollutions, improving production quality and enhancing recovery ratio of strontium.
