Abstract:
     The said invention belongs to a desiliconizing process for crude liquor of sodium aluminate during producing alumina by soda-lime sintering process. It is aimed to provide a continuous desiliconizing technology by in direct heating, which can be used in industrial prodn. and is reasonable both technically and economically. The principal technical charateristics are adding seed mother liquor and surface activator into the crude liquor, predesiliconizing through pressing and them desiliconizing. Indirect heat is applied for heating the thick liquor. The said technology can slow down surface scaling of exchanger during heat-exchanging magnificantly, furthermore, it may reduce heat consumption and ensure normal run of heat exchanger for a long period.
